Course description: The two day course provides instruction that moves from the simple to the complex. Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment terminology such as BOD, pH, alkalinity, nitrogen, phosphorus, DO dissolved oxygen.

Special attention will be placed on the topics of flow monitoring. Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act. Topic discussions are supplemented by PowerPoint presentations, case photos, worksheets and presentation handouts will be provided to attendees.
